MEET ONEO
Hi! You're probably wondering how to say my name and it's pronounced oh-knee (Yes, the "o" at the end is silent.) I'm from the environmental-friendly city of Eugene, OR. I moved here to attend the University of Oregon from Portland, OR and ended up staying after graduation. Although I studied business and economics, my real passion is makeup and all things beauty-related.
For as long as I can remember makeup has been an obsession. As a young girl I used to sit in front of a mirror and pretend to be a QVC presenter, trying on and reviewing my mom's makeup stash as if I were on TV. My mom thought I'd eventually grow out of it, but boy, was she wrong! In middle school I auditioned and enrolled in the Barbizon School of Modeling and became engrossed in what the world of beauty had to offer. I soaked up everything my trainers had to teach. It was an exciting time! Barbizon introduced me to a world of modeling and beauty that I never knew existed. I learned how to pose, how to walk, how to act, but most excitingly, I learned beauty tips the pros in the industry used. Through all of that, it only made me want more. I worked my summers off to buy the latest products and practiced on any family member and friend who would let me me.
It didn't take me long to realize that makeup is so much more than expressing your creativity. It's about creating a connection to people. Whether you're doing your own or someone else's makeup, there's something so personal about the whole process. Makeup allows you to accentuate your features and unique beauty so that you can confidently be you as you walk through your life and towards your dreams.

MEET ANNY
Hi peeps! I currently reside in Clackamas, OR which is Portland's pretty neighbor. :) I love to speak my mind and can talk about nothing all day. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, TVB dramas, and makeup! As I'm typing this...I have a drama playing in the background. :D I also graduated from University of Oregon but in Accounting. However, I have this biggest urge in me to go to beauty school to get an Esthetician license so that one day I can own my own shop and spend hours doing facials, makeup, and talking about skin all day! ^_^
It's actually kinda funny how I'm so obsessed with makeup now...I used to NEVER wear makeup until I started college. It was just a fun thing to do. And then I started watching a bunch of makeup videos on YouTube just for fun. And little did I know that would become an obsession and makeup stores became my best friends. And now, I think my face feels a little tired without makeup on. Weird huh?
I believe that everyone is beautiful the way that they are but with makeup, it's just a boost of confidence. Nobody is perfect, but with the help of makeup, we get a little bit closer. And when we really don't need an excessive amount of makeup, you never know what makes you look best until you've had it all! That's how makeup companies get you...and of course...we've been suckered in! But of course, there will always be our must have favorites that are usually a little harder to replace!
